normbuddy Report post Posted 07/27/2006 03:08 PM Hello, I plan to become a long distance call carrier in Montreal, Canada. As soon as my clients will dial "1" on their phone, their call will be routed at my office throught a PRI. I will then receive the rest of the long distance number they are dialing. I must analyse this number and bridge it on specific channels on my dialogic card. My question is : If there is no ringing on my PRI when my clients will make a call, can VoiceGuide receive the numbers they will press on their phone ? How is it done ? Thank you, Normand Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/28/2006 01:48 AM With ISDN PRIs you can answer the call immediately when it arrives, and the caller would not hear any ringing at all. If the call will be routed immediately to your PRI when customer enters some number(s) on their phone then after answering the call by your system you will be able to capture the following DTMFs (numbers) entered by the client afterwards - and you will be able to dial that number on another line and connect the caller to it (using Dial and Conference). Some times you can setup the system so that the Telco will pass the call to you only after the caller has entered the destination number as well, with the destination number supplied within the ISDN setup message. VoiceGuide can work with those types of systems as well. Share this post Link to post
